The History & Heritage Olympiad is a pioneering initiative aimed at fostering a deep appreciation for history, culture, and heritage among students at the national and international levels. This Olympiad seeks to inspire a sense of curiosity, critical thinking, and a connection to the past, encouraging participants to become enthusiastic ambassadors for preserving and understanding our shared heritage.

Seaside Helsinki

The city area includes around 300 islands, many of which can be reached via ferries. Some you can even walk to over bridges. If you’re lucky, you can even spot a seal. In winter, you can watch the sea smoke on the shores, take a cool dip in the icy waters, walk on the ice or try ice fishing.
