Our Philosophy : A Journey to a Better Future

Understanding our history and heritage

History and local heritage are not just old stories; they are the roots of our present and the blueprints for our future. Learning about them is not just for school; it's a journey of self-discovery, cultural richness, and social empowerment. By exploring the past and celebrating our heritage, we can understand where we came from, appreciate what we have now, and build a better world for tomorrow.

Tracing our roots and our shared identity

History is not just a timeline of events; it's a living story that connects us to our ancestors, our values, and our society. By studying history, we can understand the forces that shaped our world, the struggles and sacrifices that led to our present, and the values that make us who we are. We learn about our traditions, customs, and beliefs, connecting us to our roots and appreciating our unique identity.

Preserving our legacy of unique cultures

Local heritage is like a colourful tapestry, woven with the threads of our ancestors' creativity, resilience, and adaptability. It's reflected in our art, music, food, and traditions, each element a testament to our rich cultural heritage. By understanding our local heritage, we connect with our community, foster a sense of belonging, and appreciate the unique identity that makes us special.

Learning from the past for a better tomorrow

History is not just about the past; it's a mirror that reflects our present and future. By learning from history's triumphs and failures, we can identify patterns, make informed decisions, and avoid repeating mistakes. We can understand the causes of conflict, inequality, and injustice, and work towards building a more just, equitable, and sustainable world.

Embracing the timeless lessons

Learning about history and local heritage is not just about memorizing facts; it's about understanding ourselves, our community, and our world. By connecting with our past, appreciating our present heritage, and learning from the past, we can shape a better future for ourselves and future generations. Let us embrace the timeless lessons of history and heritage, building a brighter and more harmonious world together.

Vreal is Storytelling 2.0 to build better tomorrow!

Storytelling has long been a powerful tool for connecting with others, sharing experiences, and shaping our understanding of the world around us. VReal is revolutionising the storytelling by use of technology, authentic content and interactivity to create engaging, personalized experiences. The power of storytelling extends beyond education, with the potential to bridge cultural divides and foster understanding among diverse populations. By sharing authentic stories from different cultures, we can break down stereotypes, promote empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives.

From Passive Consumption to Active Engagement

Traditional storytelling, often limited to a linear format and passive consumption. We are changing this and creating Storytelling 2.0 immerses audiences in captivating experiences, making them active participants in the story rather than passive observers.

Using the force of Technology

VReal builds authentic high definition digital replicas of places and artifacts. A combination of Virtual Reality (VR) and Extended Reality (XR) technologies creates immersive experiences where the audience can interact with characters, object and the environment. These experiences blurring the lines between reality and digital create a sense of first-hand presence.

Interactivity: Beyond Clicks and Choices

With VReal,Interactivity goes beyond simple button-pushing; it's about connecting with actors and places of story. Unlike documentaries and vidoes, audience drive narrative's direction, explore on their own and thus develop a deeper understanding of the world. Unlike traditional media (e.g. documentaries, videos,) where the audience follows a predetermined path, Vreal’s interactive storytelling allows users to influence the direction of the story, shaping their own experiences and making a deeper connection with the characters and events. This active engagement creates a sense of ownership over the narrative, making the audience feel like they are not just bystanders but truthful witnesses of the story itself. As a result, interactive storytelling offers a more personalized and engaging experience, allowing users to immerse themselves in the story world and derive greater meaning from the narrative.

Live Authentic Content

VReal’s tour guides are historians, art-curators and people who have spent years uncovering history. The digital replicas are very high definition allowing the expert and the audience to ‘zoom-into’ minutest of details. Vreal’s tours allow students to step into historical re-enactments creating a meaningful impact and a lasting emotional connection with the story.

Seaside Helsinki

The city area includes around 300 islands, many of which can be reached via ferries. Some you can even walk to over bridges. If you’re lucky, you can even spot a seal. In winter, you can watch the sea smoke on the shores, take a cool dip in the icy waters, walk on the ice or try ice fishing.
